John C. "Jack" Oxley (born January 24, 1937 in Tulsa, Oklahoma) is an American oilman, a Hall of Fame polo player and club co-owner, as well as a major Thoroughbred racehorse owner and breeder who won the 2001 Kentucky Derby with Monarchos[1] and owned Beautiful Pleasure, the 1999 American Champion Older Female Horse and winner of the Breeders' Cup Distaff.[2]
